DUNLOP SP SPORT MAXX 060 Selected as Factory Standard Tires for the Latest LEXUS RX

Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. is pleased to announce that we have begun supplying our high-performance DUNLOP “SP SPORT MAXX 060” tires to LEXUS for use as factory standard tires on their latest LEXUS RX, which launched this November.
Having sold around 3.5 Million vehicles in total (as of April 2022) across some 95 countries and territories since its launch in 1998, the LEXUS RX is a Global Core Model that has consistently led the way as a pioneer in the luxury SUV market. The latest RX model carries on this proud lineage while taking refinement to all new heights, combining the superb comfort that has always been an integral part of the LEXUS Brand with an even quieter ride.
In order to contribute to greater fuel efficiency and a quieter overall ride for the latest LEXUS RX, our DUNLOP “SP SPORT MAXX 060” incorporates a new rubber compound that takes full advantage of our advanced materials development technology to maximize performance potential. In addition, thanks to our cutting-edge simulation technology, these tires also feature an optimal arrangement of lug grooves around the circumference of the tire in order to further optimize noise performance. Our DUNLOP “SP SPORT MAXX 060” tires support the outstanding all-around performance of the new LEXUS RX from the point where the vehicle meets the road.
