The Sumitomo Rubber Group acquired Lonstroff AG, a Swiss company engaged in the manufacture and sale of rubber parts for medical applications, in January of 2015. Since then, we have been working together with Lonstroff AG to expand this business, whose customers include some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Europe. With the establishment of this new factory in Slovenia, our production capacity for the manufacture rubber parts for medical applications in Europe will nearly triple compared with 2016, thus allowing us to further expand this business by leaps and bounds.
