Sumitomo Rubber Industries Signs Tennis Equipment Contract with Eight ATP/WTA Players
Tapping into US and European Markets

Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has signed tennis equipment deals with eight players on the ATP and WTA tours.
The male players include the promising American player Donald Young (USA; ATP singles ranking : 61); Bjorn Fratangelo (USA; ATP singles ranking : 111); Jamie Murray (UK; ATP doubles ranking : 9), who has won 19 doubles titles in his career; and James Blake (USA), who retired from professional tennis in 2013, with a career-high singles ranking of world No.4.
The female players include the British No.2 player Heather Watson (UK; WTA singles ranking : 75); the former world's No.1 junior player Taylor Townsend (USA; WTA singles ranking : 95); Dalma Galfi (Hungary; WTA singles ranking : 242); and the rising American young player Louisa Chirico (USA; WTA singles ranking : 214), who has been steadily improving her ranking since turning pro.
Sumitomo Rubber Industries will start distributing its tennis products on a full scale in the US and Europe this year, and will strive to enhance the value of its brands, DUNLOP and SRIXON.
